Colour, B&W, Infrared Comparison

I originally took these as a couple of test shots for the shot you see as the banner to my blog. The first one is a colour photograph, the second is the colour converted to black and white and the third is a photo taken with an IR filter.

Probably the most interesting thing to note is in the black and white photograph the vegetation is dark due to the fact it is reflecting very little light. In the IR version is is light due to the fact it is reflecting a lot of IR light.
